Event Description:
Llano Cemetery in observance of this national holiday invites you to join us in honoring those who bravely gave their lives while serving the United States of America. We are joined by many community and veterans’ organizations in presenting this memorable ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Poppy Field.
Directions:
DIRECTIONS:Directions from Interstate 40 Exit I-40 at Ross/Osage. Proceed to the light at Ross Street. From the access road turn south on Ross. Proceed south on Ross (which will turn into Ross-Osage and then into Osage) for .5 mile. At SE 27th, turn west (right). Proceed west on SE 27th. For Llano East: At the intersection of SE 27th and Arthur, turn south (left) on Arthur. For the main cemetery gate on SE 27th: Proceed west on SE 27th for 1.1 miles. For the main cemetery gate on SE 34th: Proceed south on Ross (which will turn into Ross-Osage and then into Osage) for 1.1 mile. At SE 34th, turn west (right). Proceed west on SE 34th for 1 mile. To the SE 34 Street gate for the main cemetery and Llano East: Exit Interstate 27 at 34th Street. Proceed to the light. Turn east at 34th Street. Proceed east on SE 34th. For the SE 34th Street gate for the main cemetery: Proceed east on SE 34th for .5 mile. For Llano East: Proceed east on SE 34th for .8 mile. Turn north (left) on Arthur Street. To the SE 27th Street gate for the main cemetery and Llano East: Exit Interstate 27 at SE 26th Street. Proceed to the light at SE 26th Street. Turn east on SE 26th Street. Proceed east on SE 26th Street, which will turn into SE 27th Street. For the SE 27th Street gate for the main cemetery: Proceed east for .3 mile. For Llano East: Proceed east for .9 mile to the intersection of SE 27th Street and Arthur. Turn south (right) on Arthur.
