Event Description:
Top of Texas Square and Round Dance Association will be having their Teen Dance August 12, 2017, from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at the Kwahdi Indian Museum, 9151 I-40E, Amarillo, TX. Throughout the state of Texas, all square dance associations provide dances to raise money for our Teen Scholarships. The scholarships are given out to qualified square dancing seniors. During our dances we provide a clean atmosphere to everyone. No drinking, smoking or foul language is allowed. Lots of Fun and Exercise. If you or you know of a teen that is interested in square dancing lessons and possibly a scholarship, please contact the Top of Texas Club Presidents, Robert or Marilyn Mitchell, 806-359-7310.. and Don and Jean Parker 806-683-4304.. Robert and Marilyn and Don and Jean would be delighted to discuss with you regarding your teen or yourself for lessons. We promote and offer all families and young teens to take lessons. We have square dancers as young as 9 yrs up to 90 years young.Everyone is welcome to come and watch.. Free Admission.. Also there will be officers from the Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers attending this event. Nora Creed is our President, Curtis and Ruth Rutledge is our Vice President, Keith and Kathie Malone is our Treasurer, and E.W. and Alta Sweeney are the Secretaries.
