Event Description:
Our monthly Business Opportunities Luncheon features programs and speakers from around the Amarillo community who work closely with small businesses. This event provides networking opportunities for businesses who may be looking to expand their sales of products and services to agencies and companies like WTAMU, Amarillo College, CNS Pantex, City of Amarillo, Texas Department of Transportation and many others. Join the luncheon to get the best information and make connections. Ever had an insurance claim and felt like your insurance company wasn't looking out for your best interest? Join us at Saltgrass as Trent Phillips, from the Insurance Advocacy Group (IAN), discusses about how an insurance claim is processed and how they advocate for fair processing for all parties. There are 3 parts to claim: the injured party, the insurance company, and the claim. IAN focuses on the third part of this by providing an objective analysis on how a claim should be handled both by the insurance company and the injured party. This provides an equitable, fair and much faster solution to the situation. Trent Phillips grew up in Amarillo and began his insurance career working for his uncle while attending Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. With the assistance of his uncle he was employed by a large captive company where he worked as a claim representative and moved up into handling complex litigated claims. He worked his way to a position where he traveled and handled natural disasters throughout the United States. With the birth of his son, Ian, in 2004 he settled down and began to work for an independent insurance agency in Amarillo. His love for claims did not diminish but grew stronger. RSVP for your place at this great luncheon. Room for the first fifty (50) to RSVP.
