Event Description:
On Saturday, October 6, 2018, the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation, producer of TEXAS Outdoor Musical, will host our largest annual development and fundraising event. This 11th Annual Rider on the Rim Trail Ride and Concert in the Canyon will attract over 1500 concert patrons and up to 250 patrons and community leaders committed to supporting the heritage of our area and the arts. “We hope to have the opportunity to share our vision and story of the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation with you in the near future and would greatly appreciate your continued support and attendance at our Annual Rider on the Rim Trail Ride and Concert in the Canyon.” Dave Yiark, Executive Director of TPHF This unique event will include guided trail rides by horseback or jeep in the Palo Duro Canyon at the Elkins Ranch, a VIP cocktail reception and dinner at Pioneer Amphitheatre and a LIVE performance featuring award winning country music artist Shenandoah. While the Rider on the Rim Trail Rides and VIP Dinner and cocktail reception are by advance reservation and invitation, the Shenandoah concert can be attended separately and is open to the public. The entire event is family friendly and the proceeds from our 11th Annual Rider on the Rim and Concert in the Canyon will provide the funding and support to improve infrastructure within the Pioneer Amphitheater, provide for needed upgrade to technology that optimizes and amplifies a memorable entertainment experience, provides for scholarship and funding to support cast and company, and provides for funding to support our educational outreach endeavors. Trail Rides and VIP Dinner and Cocktail reservations can be made by calling our office at 806.655.2181 or by emailing etimmons@texas-show.com. Concert tickets are reserved seating, and can be purchased online at www.texas-show.com or by calling our box office at 806-655-2181 and are $45-$65 per piece. The house opens at 6:30pm. The Concert in the Canyon will include an opening performance by The Prairie Dogs at 7pm, Shenandoah LIVE at 8:30pm, followed by Dancing on the Patio with Buster Bledsoe after the concert.
