Vibra Hospital of Amarillo is seeking a Full Time Cook to join our team! The Cook prepares foods for patients, staff and guests, and may assist with general cleaning, dish and pot washing. The Cook ensures that facility and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to and that proper sanitation, safety and infection control policies are followed. Qualifications: One (1) year of experience as a Cook with primary responsibility for preparation and service of food, estimating quantity of food needed and a general understanding of principle of sanitation and safe handling of food and equipment required. Previous Cook experience in hospital or healthcare facility preferred. Ability to prepare a variety of foods form scratch, knowledge of operation of various kitchen and cafeteria equipment, basic understanding of food extension and healthcare menus.
