Event Description: Clara’s “la Aventura” Nutcracker Spanish Ball Saturday, November 21, 2015 Civic Center Heritage Room The Lone Star Ballet Guild would like to invite you to attend one of Amarillo’s most memorable family events, the Nutcracker Ball 2015! Each year the ball celebrates the holiday season with an elegant evening of dining, dancing, and entertainment fashioned for the whole family. The Nutcracker Ball is the Lone Star Ballet Guild`s premier fundraiser in which the proceeds sponsor the Nutcracker Ballet, the 2015-2016 ballet season, and assist in scholarships for the dancers and dancer supplies. The theme of this year’s Nutcracker Ball is Clara’s “la aventura” – Nutcracker Spanish Ball which will continue through the Kingdom of Sweets as Clara does during the famous ballet. The evening starts with a Spanish Tapas’ Pre-Party for the $1000.00 and above sponsorship levels. This Pre-Party will feature a variety of Spanish appetizers, Traditional Sangria, and a Special Themed Drink for our los ninos, a Fur Fashion Show fit for Kings and Queens by Marcella Furs & Leather, a Monarch-Worthy Raffle, and a reserved 10% discount at the Sales Booth that is valid during the Pre-Party. The Nutcracker Spanish Ball will properly present the 2015-2016 Usher and Usherettes followed by a seated dinner, and music for dancing by Insufficient Funds. Additional grand and royal happenings of the Ball will be: ? The children’s room will be overflowing with crafts, games, and explorations; plus una sopresa appearance by Santa Claus. ? A magnifico Silent Auction that spotlights many rich items and aspectacular Live Auction. ? The Sales Booth offers the most exceptional Nutcrackers available in the Texas Panhandle. ? Steve Satterwhite will be taking noble family photos that will be printed before you leave. Dress for this lavish evening will be Black Tie/Holiday Dress; un español touch is welcomed.
