Event Description:
Historic Llano Cemetery will celebrate 128 years of history with the 12th Annual Twilight Cemetery Tour, Saturday, Oct. 22, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Stroll through the peaceful, tree lined paths and visit the final resting places of Amarillo's beloved citizens. Tour the cemetery via a hayride or walking tour as guides share about the Panhandle’s founders, pioneers, public servants, gypsies and other famous residents of the Panhandle's oldest and largest historical cemetery. Please download our new APP in the Play Store or Apple Store for helpful information. The cemetery is located on Arthur St. between 26th and 34th. Enter the cemetery at the 34th Street entrance. Weather Permitting.
Directions:
Llano Cemetery is located east of Interstate 27 between SE 27th Street and SE 34th Street. Arthur Street, which runs north and south, crosses 27th and 34th streets and cuts between the main cemetery and Llano East. Entrance for the Twilight Tour is located at: Southeast 34th Street across from Tradewinds Airport
