The food is excellent and so are the cupcakes. We have always gotten good food and dessert from here. What made the experience less than great was every single high chair was broken. Broken straps on every chair. Crusted over with food from multiple meals. No one would sit at a broken dirty table, and it isn't ok to expect a mom to sit their baby down in the same situation. It's unsafe and unacceptable. We couldn't stay and enjoy lunch I cannot say I can recommend Ruffled Cup to families until that gets fixed. I really hope this can get addressed because we do love the food and cupcakes.

A great place for custom cakes! This Easter cake fed about 30 people and cost around $80.
It was a masterpiece! And super moist. This coconut cake was triple layered and had delicious icing on the inside and out.
Their cupcakes are the best, but their cakes are superb!
They can tailor make your requests, and are real helpful if you go in to order. You can also call them and describe what you're wanting.
Then when it's ready, they have handy pick-up hours.
Probably my favorite cake bakery in Ama along with being a superb cupcakery! This doesn't even touch their in-store service and great cafe!
Worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Debbie T.Houston, TX387Feb 5, 2024
Their cupcakes & sandwiches were amazing. Especially the roast beef, cheese & artichoke hearts on a croissant roll & strawberry fields salad.

They have signs all over saying that they're open until 6:30 Monday-Saturday. I came at 6:15 on a Saturday and they had already locked the doors and started cleaning. I know 15 minutes isn't that long, but it would've been more than enough to buy one cupcake which is all I wanted.

The Bakery area is excellent and cakes tasty. Lunch portions are large enough for us to split. You order at the counter then find a table. When food is ready they bring the food to you. Our lunch was tasty and plenty. They don't take reservations and can get very busy. Staff was friendly. Parking is free in front lot.

Located in the Puckett Plaza this is a new expanded Ruffled Cup. Primarily a bakery it has recently added more lunch type items on the menu. Mostly the customers are local. It was mostly full and quite noisy. Atmosphere is very modern clean and casual. You order at the counter, pay get your number then find a table. Service was very slow and indifferent liked they couldn't care less. Most of staff just stood around even though the line to order was backed up. When we finally got our order we had almost gave up. Our sandwich was large which we shared. Presentation was ok and taste decent. Only issue too much cherry sauce which made the bread soggy. They do not take reservations. Plenty of free parking in the Plaza. Since this is primary a bakery that's what I would get if I would return, but not for lunch. - Cindy D.Kersey, CO4120Aug 11, 2023
I love this place! Ruffled cake has the best sugar cookies, cupcakes and food around. I love the atmosphere when you walk in, it's friendly, warm, inviting and feels like family! Great place to get your bakery items! I'm never disappointed with the taste, quality and variety!

Unbelievable find! This place will not disappoint. My group started with sandwiches and salads and ended with cake in a cup and cupcakes.
I have to admit, I have never seen a cookie dough bar! My kids were mesmerized by the choices. We didn't try the cookie dough or homemade ice cream because there is only so much we could eat, but will definitely stop in again if we are ever back in Amarillo.

I'm reviewing this based on our visit in the morning, just short of lunch. The menu looked good, but I will just discuss about the sweets we got.
First of all, the fancier version of Ding Dongs. I don't know if by making them shiny is supposed to taste better, but it worked. It was as if it was freshly baked and not out of box. Oh wait.
Along with some purchases of cupcakes and mini chocolate crusted pie, this was a good move to visit this place! Not to mention the pizza cookie with frosting and mini M&Ms on top. Which somehow I did not eat the whole thing in one take (finished it the next day as I ate it after placing it in the refrigerator, just as delicious). It wasn't the size of a normal pizza, but perfectly sweet, bigger than a regular chips ahoy cookie.
Although the one thing I regret is not trying their banana pudding. If I ever return to Armarillo, Texas...I will be sure to get it. Oh, and I also got one of their keto cookies. That as well satisfied my taste buds.
Overall, the staff was amazing, they answered any questions we had, especially about their cookie dough. Which at first I thought were tubs of ice cream. But still, this place is amazing! Thank you for existing!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sarah G.Houston, TX086Oct 8, 2023
Some of the sweets were good, others bland. Unfortunately they only serve drip coffee. Would love some espresso option to accompany my dessert. Despite cooking for Butterlove around the corner and having a large dining room (mostly empty mid-morning in a Saturday, they do not serve any "food", just desserts. So if that's what you're looking for, lots of options, but not much reason to sit down and stay.

A little pricey, but also what you expect from a bakery. Lots of options - not just cookies (even though they are the best part). Super cute store. Love to go there for lunch. I've never had to wait a super long time, they are pretty quick. One of the best dessert places in Amarillo!
