Job Description:

Sidekicks Stay & Play is looking to hire a groomer for dogs (and potentially cats). Previous experience is preferred. Certification is preferred but not a requirement. About Our Facility: Sidekicks Stay & Play is a new, locally-owned boarding, enrichment, and training facility dedicated to excellent care for our guests, clients, and teams. We opened in August of 2021 and have been steadily growing since! We are located next to Swann Animal Clinic on Plum Creek and work together to facilitate past due veterinary services. We also provide ancillary services such as medical boarding. Now, we would like to introduce professional grooming services. About Our Culture: We fully believe in providing a culture of growth. About the Position: We are looking for a motivated and reliable person with experience bathing and grooming dogs. We are looking for someone willing to grow, pour into others, and care for our clients as much as our guests. If you feel you can describe yourself as motivated, patient, compassionate, reliable, and hardworking, we'd love to meet you! Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted, or 50lbs + assisted Team Player mentality. Willing to help, teach, and encourage others. Additional Options: Sidekicks Stay & Play was established in August of 2021, as we have only recently opened our doors, and we have a growing clientele. We are interested in hiring a full or part-time groomer as our client base continues to express a deep need for this service. Hours: Part-Time: 15-25+ hrs per week Full-Time: 35- 40hrs per week We believe in providing an excellent work/life balance and are willing to offer more hours but do not want it to be detrimental to your health. Tools, Assistance, and More: We have a small variety of tools available. However, we will be purchasing more based on preference, need, and demand. Our current team will be available to support and assist you in bathing, drying, brushing, trimming nails, restraint, positive reinforcement, etc. Compensation: Compensation is based on experience, expertise, availability, and full vs. part-time status. Compensation is commission plus tips; hourly maybe be available based on availability. The ability to make your schedule is a possibility. Additional Information: We understand this position is not for everyone, and coming to a new place of business, especially a recently established one, can carry some risk. However, as we grow, we know you will as well; this is something we have watched over the past decade in our sister business, Swann Animal Clinic, and the grooming industry in general. Experience Required:
